Turntable Motors With Titles, my latest video, features some way cool animated titles and magic subtitles. Showing on your screen below is a video of (2) 100cc 2 stroke go-kart racing engines. Just a turntable shot of the motors spinning around. I thought it rather boring so I threw the kitchen sink at it. Also, I wanted to evaluate a new DaVinci Resolve plugin I found, called "Magic Subtites." Check it out, then read my website tips below...

1. Magic Subtitles by Mr. AlexTech is a DaVinci Resolve Studio plugin. It creates fancy subtitles using embedded functionality. In other words it is a tool that utilizes and overrides the inherent subtitle tool. It features a Fusion-Title panel where you can change all the parameters of a custom textbox. Plus added features like "fix a mistake." And why is that important?
2. AI speech to text engines hallucinate occassionally (like every 5 minutes). Which results in bad transcriptions. So, a one line text editing box becomes a fabulous timesaver. For fixing misspelled words, wrong interpretations and bad English, on the fly. Plus magic subtitles has all the other tools included for animating text. That is if you have DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio. This plugin combines subtitles with the fusion composition tool and has a well thought out user interface. And that is just the free version.
3. With the help of AI we can now transcribe speech to text in an instant. And screw it up just as fast. With tools like this one we can fix what AI hallucinates. Then animate it to finish polishing your content.

With the advent of AI subtitles comes new and exciting plugins. I picked up one called Magic Subtitles by Mr. AlexTech. Am still in the process of evaluating the Pro version. But looks pretty cool so far. For this video I decided to make a video short for YouTube. Notice the tight lip sync. Check it out... Website tips for video are:

• Vertical resolution in DaVinci Resolve from horizontal resolution source video is simple (not). Have you ever tried to convert a horizontal resolution video into a vertical resolution video?

  Not as easy as it sounds. You end up trying to resize and reposition everything. And then run into scaling problems. Yikes! Can be not worth the effort.

• In DaVinci resolve you can solve this problem by forcing the timeline resolution to be vertical. Go to "Project Settings - Master Settings - Timeline resolution" and check the box "Use vertical resolution. But it is best to reconstruct the video from scratch. Here's how In DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio.

• AI spokesperson as video presenters can save you a lot of money. Our human avatars only need a script or voice over file to work. BWT Videos has a large variety of avatars from every walk of life.
• AI subtitles in YouTube Shorts, Instagram and Reels are the latest thing. In DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio version this feature is built in. AI subtitles in DVR are pretty sophisticated but do not have all the functionality of Magic Subtitles.

  For instance this plugin features both a line item text editor and a nicely done user interface. But like DVR this one is complex. Might take a while to understand it's full potential. But, I've only made this one video with it so far.

What is cool about this video is I made it entirely from computer generated animation. Even the voice is computer generated. I use a product called HumanPal by Paul Ponna to create the avatars. The talent in this video Amelia Chuckle has a personality and emotion, also computer generated.

HumanPals are computer generated human avatars. They are getting more and more sophisticated as AI is the main force involved in their digitization. Adding personality and emotion to human actors can be make video represtenters more life-like. Learn more here...
